Installation

Now, for the next task, there’s something to install. It’s very easy, so you just have to look at the picture and follow along.

 

Click File> Options> Add-ins> Go.

After checking ‘Analysis ToolPak’ and ‘Analysis ToolPak -VBA’ and clicking ‘OK’, ‘Data Analysis’ will now appear on the right side of the ‘Data’ menu. Then you’re all set.

 

  

When you click on this menu, a window called <Data Analysis> appears. In fact, this menu was the same at least in 2002, when I first used it. At that time, you had to reinsert the installation CD to use this add-in. So no matter what version of Excel you have, you can use all of these features.
