Excel and Statistics, everybody should know. : Contents
Random Number Generation
Let’s open the ‘Random Number Generation’ window.
Since the number of variables is 5 and the number of random numbers is 200, we will have 200 rows of numbers in 5 columns. Since the distribution is set to ‘normal distribution’, we specify the two parameters ‘mean’ and ‘standard deviation’ accordingly. At this time, a ‘random seed’, or ‘seed’, is left blank, and if you put a certain number, the same random number will be generated every time.
You can
make other things of quite a bit of distribution.
