ch.41 Reorder factor levels
Let’s set the order in a nominal variable.
Specify one variable and create a name for the new variable.
Specifies the order to give to the new variable. Unless it is a special case, the order of the alphabetical order is usually ranked. This feature can be used when you need to be artificially given a ranking. This feature can be used when dealing with dummy variables, such as logistic regression or Cox regression. This is because the first ranking will be the reference.
The
ranking is internal, so there is no outward change.
